About Peach Valley

The Peach Valley Christian Youth Encampment was first conceived in the mind of J. E. Ezzell of Point Comfort, Texas. With the help of a few friends, his dream became a reality in 1963.

Peach Valley Christian Youth Camp is chartered under the laws of the state of Texas and is operated by a board of directors, all of whom live in the South/Central Texas area. Each member of the board is a Christian interested in youth ministry and dedicated to Christian principles.
We plan all of our camp sessions with the needs of Young people from ages 7 -19 in mind.

All camp personnel must undergo a thorough background check as well as undergo training in a special class on sexual abuse and molestation,  to be able to work at Peach Valley.  Camp session directors and personnel provide opportunity to fill these needs in study groups, devotionals, and other activities. Well balanced meals are prepared three times daily by the camp cooks. There is a canteen  available periodically at times designated by the session director which allows candy and soft drinks or juices  to be served to the campers as refreshment. The swimming pool is always a favorite spot and provides fun and exercise. Swimming is supervised by a certified life-guard , as well counselors,
with separate sessions for boys and girls.

Every teacher is vitally interested in the spiritual development of each camper. Each background in teaching is varied, but all are qualified to do an exceptional job of teaching both in classes and sessions. The daily schedules are planned to provide spiritual improvement.
